If I'm Not Dead, Then I'm Dying is in Boston, back from MDF. What an amazing weekend... surely one of the best in years. Posted at 6:49 PM May 26 view more
About me: I would like to just drink and cut records these days, but it gets a little more complex than that. I'm a musician by choice and will, a graphic designer by trade and sometimes the occasional journalist. In total, I am at heart an entrepreneur and artist by all of the above: will, choice and trade. I suppose that I'm pretty easy to get along with. I am vegetarian, but I approve of hunting not filthy, mass-produced slaughter. I am pro-guns and I believe everyone who is sane enough should exercise their right to get a gun and learn how to use it wisely. I do not believe that "comfort" is something that I should or need to achieve in life at the moment. Great spirits proclaim that "satisfaction is the death of desire", and I agree.
My Past (in order):
Writing:
RIP MAGAZINE (1994-1996)
NEPTUNE 'ZINE (1994-1998)
LIVE WIRE MAGAZINE (1996-1997)
METAL HAMMER MAGAZINE (1999-2000)
I'm a lot better at writing now than those teenage years.
Music:
FROZEN (1998-present: All recordings)
CANNAE (2003-????: Tours for "Horror", Drums & Guitar on "Gold Becomes Sacrifice)
ALL THAT REMAINS (2006 - European Tour & Video)
THE YEAR OF OUR LORD (2001-Breakup)
Available for studio work and tours with established bands for both Drums and Guitar.
Who I'd like to meet: Brahman and possibly Atman on the way.
hey man great seeing you at MDF! I had no clue who the fuck you were for the first 30 seconds haha. Hell of a weekend, too bad I didn't know you were down before Sunday night, could have partied in my room at the Tremont a few blocks away. Oh well, hopefully next year if they do a good lineup again I'll catch ya there. Might be up in Boston this summer at some point, if I am I'll let ya know.
The fest ruled. Lots of great bands. I think everyone had fun on stage, minus me. It wasnt so much the worst show for the band as much as it was just real real rough for me. Nice meeting you.
