I love to go bowling. I was on a bowling team while I was in high school and I haven't really been much lately. I picked up a new hobby here recently and that's gardening. I never thought of myself as a person that works in the yard, but my neighbor has the most beautiful backyard. It reminds me of that movie "The Secret Garden." This was motivation for me to get my yard flower full like his.
Music
My favorite song is "Save a Life." I had a dream one night and this song was in my dream. I was doing surgery on a man named Anthony. He had just been involved in an MVA, and I'm having to do emergency surgery. All I can remember is that he has a crushed left patella, and an almost severed right leg. I believe that God has shown me my first patient that I can't save to help prepare me.
Movies
I just recently saw "Facing the Giants." It was a low budget film, but very spiritual. I actually jumped off the couch when they won the football game because these kids had put their faith in God. So it wasn't just about football it was about believing.
Television
My favorite shows are Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. Grey's Anatomy helps keep me pumped for what I get to do in my residency. Their terminology on the show is so bona fide.
Books
My favorite most read book of course is the bible. My husband just bought me this beautiful bible with the old and new converted version included. I had told him that some things in the bible I have a hard time converting to today's time.
Heroes
Jesus is my hero. I just wish I would had found him sooner. Everytime I need a bill paid, gas in the car, offering for church, money for clothes and food. He steps in right on time. He has healed me from cancer twice. He will always be my hero.
About me: I married the most absolutely wonderful man in the world, Floyd, and we have seven children Malik 11, Isaiah 8, Emily 7,Lizzy 5,Angel 4,Malachi 2, and baby Jeremiah. I love my life and it is seemingly perfect. I am a great person, wonderful mother, and the best kind of friend to have. I am wise, spiritual, opinionated, and continuing my education to becoming an Orthopaedic Surgeon. My husband and I have a very large family inside our home, but not so much outside of the home leading us to depend on God and each other for support. It is quite fascinating how many people look at us and expect us to fail. Sad thing for those people is that we're not failures. We really only have one regret in life and that is that we didn't meet sooner...probably would've left out a lot of the crazy people in our lives...LOL

hey, yeah things are gettin better. he is finally tryin to do right cause he knows this is it. if he messes up i'm so done. i felt like i had to try it again and so far its good. he's in counceling for his temper and he's got a job and has been workin and he has not drank a drop. that was our biggest problem. he has a drinking problem and last time he got to drinkin and acting up. its hard for me cause we don't go out like we did cause my friends have alcohol around and its hard for him. i enjoy goin out and havin a drink with them sometimes but i know he can't so i just don't but its all about compromise i guess. i just don't like it..lol

My ex boyfriends stepdad killed himself lastnight...and the weirdest part was i was hangin out w/ my ex's sis(which i havent seen in YEARS) lastnight when it happened.

Lol...yeah she's a ALWAYS losing something. Things r goin ok. Ive filed for divorce...just waitin for him to sign the papers and send them back. I went through w/ buyin the house. Ive finally about got enough stuff there for me and Katelyn to move in within the next wk or so, so things r goin pretty good
