The key to our sound is, “Why not?”, “Why can’t we play that?” Never afraid to play between the lines and stray from the conventional. Featured live on ‘Tim Shaw’s Rehab’ on BRMB Radio (Birmingham’s biggest station). ‘This is live’, a Nottingham Evening Post interview and live acoustic recording. Regularly featured in local papers. Regional semi-finalists in The Surface unsigned festival 2010, (one of the last 52 bands from 12000) and playing at some of the UK top venues including The Asylum, The Flapper and The Custard factory (Birmingham). Dreaded Monkey are once again competing in the Surface Festival in 2011. After winning their first round the future looks bright. Their self produced Album "The weight is uncertain" released fall 2010 The band started work on theif follow up to "The weight is uncertain" record march 2011.
