Dreadfall is a band known for it's decimating music and over the top stage presence. The band hails from the bleak, mountainous wastelands of eastern Kentucky and hopes to unleash it's venom upon the world stage very soon!
Dreadfall meshes elements of metal - hard rock - thrash - death metal and hardcore to achieve it's unique and bludgeoning sound. The band was officially formed in January 2007 when drummer J.D. Hall and former bassist Jeremy Chaney reunited after several years of playing in seperate bands. The two had previously played together in well known regional bands such
as V.O.A. (Voices Of Aggression). Guitarist Brandon (B.C.) Carroll and vocalist Micheal Keene were selected right away and the lineup was complete.
Michael is the embodiment of the ultimate metal frontman. His high energy performances never fail to deliver. His vocals range from a banshee's shriek to a menacing, subhuman growl. Axeman Brandon Carroll brings the music to life with his savage riffing and incendiary guitar solos. The band's new bassist, Daniel Rogers lays down the massive, lowend rumble and serpentine bass lines with his Fender 4 - string . And last but not least, drummer J.D. Hall provides the bone crushing beats, larger than life persona and drum solos from hell that every proper metalhead craves ! J.D. is also responsible for the haunting, goth metal inspired backing vocals that appear on several of Dreadfall's tracks. Dreadfall is certainly a band on a mission. Now armed with a great cd, professional music video, awesome live show and an ever - growing, ravenous fanbase, the band feels that it's ready to take on the world ! The guys have recieved some really nice press and regional airplay lately and have shared the stage with local bands as well as national acts such as Nonpoint, Skindred, Lillian Axe and others. Dreadfall is currently writing new music, shopping to record labels, and booking a ton of live shows throughout the region for 09'. Catch em' live when they invade your town. See ya in the pit !!!
