Dreadful Truth is a trash/death metal band from Granby city, Qc, Canada. Formed in 2007, the band's line up had to go through some major changes. The first real solid line-up came in 2008 with its present members: Sam Landry on guitars, Max Ménard on lead guitar, Stephane Morel on drums, Lee Gasser on bass and Jason Hauver on the vocals. The band was supposed to record its first demo in late 2008, but the recording session was reported to summer 2009 due to Stephane's broken collarbone during a hockey game. DAMN!!! So by the end of summer 2009 Dreadful Truth released their first selftitled 4 songs demo. Dreadful Truth's songs then appeared on some local compilations and on Walking Dead Metal Vol.2, which was distributed all around Canada. The band also made it to the final in the Great Rock War III band contest in 2010.
