Hey, I put up a new song in the MySpace player. It's a homemade slice of orch pop from my vast archive: "When All Your Old Friends Aren't Your Best Friends Anymore." Have a listen if you like.
El Presidente: Please have a listen to my new song, “Consideration” in the mighty MySpace player. It features me and that perfect percussive palooka, Anthony Allen of Washington, D.C. Not a real mix, but pretty much finished. It will appear on my next album, Smellicopter, in 2010/2011. Please “subscribe” to me if you haven’t already. You need to be in the loop, right?
Drop whatever you are doing and listen to my new song in the MySpace player.
Yet more “live” radio appearance gold from the Pure Pop show back in May 2008.
I recorded a “live” version of one of my most beloved songs, “Karen,” an important part of my 1999 cd, For Those Who like POP (available everywhere now as a download album, or I can scare up an original rare compact disc for you online somewhere). This version is a special scaled down arrangement which deletes an instrumental section that is impossible to play on guitar.
Once again, just me and an acoustic guitar. Please listen and let me hear from you. Scott Brookman
PS: “subscribe” to me, if you haven’t already, so you’ll know what is going on!
Er, Gomez: Thanks for the add and for putting me in your musical interests column. I might suggest that instead of ripping-off Charles Addams characters, you should just use images of men with moustaches similar to your own. EA Poe, for instance. And..what was the verdict on the Wicked Pedia?
Tony Taylor(my favorite baseball player, Philadelphia Phillies, 1960-1970), Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Jon Stewart, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Will Shakespeare,
