In 1890 a reviewer for the New York Post wrote, "The Fourth Tchaikovsky Symphony proved to be one of the most thoroughly Russian, i.e. semi-barbaric, compositions ever heard in the city. ... If Tchaikovsky had called his symphony 'A Sleigh Ride Through Siberia' no one would have found this title inappropriate."
Music: Symphony No. 4, Move. 4
Composer: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
Performers: San Francisco Symphony Orchestra Michael Tilson Thomas– conductor
All my best, michael

FGC is back in Kansas and Missouri this weekend for two fun shows. Friday, we hit the Granada Theater in Lawrence, KS, supporting bass phenomenon Victor Wooten, and Saturday finds us back at Mojo’s in Columbia, MO. Both shows are all ages. Hope to see you there!
In the meantime, check out all three of our Summer Camp Festival sets on the Live Music Archive for free stream/download! Visit our MySpace blog for the links, and click here to check out some photos from the weekend.
We also want to invite our Myspace friends to connect with us on Facebook. Click the links for the FGC Group and FGC Page, both great ways to stay in touch with the band and link up with other fans.
