DreamBuilderStudios was created to make a facility available to all independent artists who typically would not have access to a large studio complex to create their art. The entire Studio complex sits along the scenic St. Lawrence River on 6 acres surrounded by beautiful park land, it is situated within one hour of Montreal or Ottawa via highway 401 and 10 minutes away from Upstate New York; making this an ideal, central location to meet photographers/videographers, actors/models and clients.
Audio Studio
The audio studio was designed by renowned acoustical engineer, working with a large empty space rather than remodeling existing rooms allowed for acoustically accurate construction. Latest generation sound reduction technology was used in an effort to increase recording quality. Some of the features of the Audio Studio are; Double wall construction, isolated floors and ceilings, noiseless air conditioning system, and being the only soffit mounted 5.1 surround control room in Eastern Canada, are some of the highlights.
Film/Video studio
The Film/Video studio is currently situated in an open span 6000 sq ft. area of the main building. Plans for a 60 x 20 foot chroma green screen are now in place allowing a wide variety of projects to be undertaken. A second 30,000 sq ft, Studio B is slated for construction in January 2008.
Photography Studio
The Photography Studio includes a 30' x 25' Chroma Green room with a 15' ceiling for any desired photo session. Several Photo editing workstations with Adobe Photoshop and burning software are available to transfer your images to a CD or DVD, wireless internet access is also available.
Amenities
A lounge area and kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave is perfect for small meals in the studio. A washroom, with shower, is also available for photographers, models and clients to use after or during the rental of the studio.
