About me: I'm a proud parent of two children, a teenage girl and a 11 year old boy. I'm also a Reiki Healer, Mystic, Seeker of Truth, Lightworker and I used to do some Modeling. I joined this site to actually keep an eye on my teenage daughter. She has her own site and I wanted to make sure she was being careful. Always, the Parent...also my friend Jill joined My Space and we've been having all sorts of fun playing with the computer!
I'm a very spiritual person and am always seeking ways to enlighten myself and grow as a person. I'm a Pisces through and through - very intuitive, sensitive and love the water!
I love all things that are Celtic, music, symbols, etc. I also love anything Egyptian, I have a collection of Egyptian stuff and would love to visit Egypt someday! Other places I'd like to go would be New Zealand, Ireland, Macchu Picchu, Greece, and Switzerland. I'm very big into music, reading, traveling, etc. Some of the places I've been besides most of the states in the US, are the Bahamas, Mexico, and Canada. Some of my favorite places in the US are Sedona, AZ, the Black Hills, SD, anywhere in Colorado, Wyoming, and Georgia. I love the mountains and I love waterfalls. I also love the beach and am into Ocean views and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. I do prefer more calming settings, like a quiet lake or stream somewhere in the mountains. I love sitting on the water with the wind blowing in my hair.
Music wise, I love just about everything except for Blues and Jazz. I miss the 80's, they were the best times and the best music and I miss the old MTV!
I'm not a big drinker, I will occasionally have a drink but my partying days are over. I'm more into gardening, camping and communing with nature these days.
I have a 136 year old Victorian home that I bought in 2005. I've been busy working on getting that updated and spend most of time in the garden in the Spring and Summer. I love historic sites and homes. I also love the Renaissance period. I would like to get involved with some of the Renaissance faires and get all of the period clothing, etc.
I was doing some modeling the last couple of years but have pretty much given that up now, as I'm not as interested in it much anymore. Nowdays I am more into developing my spirituality. I guess that comes with growing up a little, I think. I'm a Gnostic as far as religion goes and I spend most of my time learning about that and other Metaphysical subjects.
My 11 year old son, keeps me very busy. My teenage daughter is gettng more and more independent all the time so I just have to keep an eye on her but she is definitely maturing and growing into her own person.
I don't have a lot of time to do a lot of social things. My kids, my home, my garden and my job keep me pretty busy.
I do like to go out to eat on occasion and see a movie. I also like going to Summer Festivals and listening to the music, shopping at the Arts and Crafts fairs, etc. I don't like hanging out in bars. I'd prefer to have a beer or a glass of wine at a festival or at some other social gathering. I don't like big crowds. I had my days of all that. I also like to go camping. I am not into roughing it completely. I must have a bathroom and shower near by. I do like to hike and go for long walks. I also like to dance but don't do much of that these days either. Unless you call dancing around the house with my kids and goofing around. I have a great sense of humor and love movies that are Comedies. I don't like offensive jokes though, just clean, goofy humor. I also am a hopeless romantic so any movies on that level I love. I almost always cry at those types of movies. I also like Science Fiction and Adventure movies.

As far as the type of man I'm interested in dating: I don't like men who are into Wrestling, Racing, or too many sports, and don't like guys who view women as sex objects or just want to party all of the time. I don't mind the Outdoorsman, but don't expect me to go hunting with you and I won't eat the meat. I do like to fish but you'll have to bait the hook for me and take the fish off. Someone I can have a deep conversation with, along with someone to have fun with. I like a Renaissance Man. Someone who believes Chilvalry is still alive. I'm Old Fashioned. Sorry if I sound so picky but at my age, I prefer to be. I don't want to waste my time and since I'm very busy and don't have a lot of free time, that is crucial. I'd rather be alone than settle for something that is less than what I want. I actually like to have a lot of alone time so it doesn't bother me a bit to be single. I'm looking for someone who just wants to have fun, to be just friends with and hang out or a relationship if it's the right person. I'm not looking for one night stands or casual sex. I want someone who likes to cuddle as I'm a very affectionate person. So if this sounds like you, invite me to be your friend and we will see where it goes.
