Old Punk, some new punk (not pop punk because that genre sucks), rock, indie, new wave, classical (especially Mozart, Bach, et al), hip hop (when it isn't meaningless, which is increasingly rare), some but not all electronica, trip-hop, Japanese electropop, also I bet I'm more shameless on the karoke mic than you are! My favorite to sing is "Tonight, Tonight" by Smashing Pumpkins.
Movies
I'm willing to make one if you are. I also like any movie by Tim Burton, Stanley Kubric, David Lean, Alfred Hitchcock, William Wyler, Frank Capra, Cecille B. Demille, Rodger Corman -- B Movie King! --, George Romero, kung-fu and anime movies, and lots of foreign stuff especially French, German and Japanese...

Television
TV sucks. Newspapers and magazines are better, since they can double as cheap blankets when you're locked out, or down-and-out.
Okay, The simpsons, but nothing else! Unless it makes me laugh ;-). Okay, maybe Family Guy and lots of other cartoons, old and new -- a lot of them are more honest and real than live actors on the screen.
Most network television shows and cable programs are just distracting minds from realizing that they're wasting their time...
Books
F. Scott Fitzgerald, Hemmingway (when he isn't being boring), some Jane Austen, E.M. Forster, Ayn Rand, Melville (actually, only three of his books, the others are kind of meh...), J.D. Salinger (of course), Tolkien, Fredrick Forsyth, Arthur Conan Doyle, Dostoevsky (if you read his books for an hour at a time and no more, they make better sense), Tolstoy (see Dostoevsky), Chekov (the cool Russian), Leroux, Balzac (Pere Goriot is so good!) also lots of ancient classical works are good, provided they're translated and not in their original Greek form, otherwise "it's all Greek to me..."..

Hello! Thank you for visiting me.
I'm mixed ethnically, part Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, and Spanish. I go to college at night and I work during the day and I hang out in all hours inbetween unless I need to sleep which is not often provided I have something with caffiene or someone with personality to keep me awake. I like to watch foreign and domestic films and I like to ride in foreign and domestic cars trains and aeroplanes. I love Hong Kong cinema, and like writing on bodies and on paper, whatever holds ink. I talk on the phone and face to face and I don't have a preference as long as what we say means something. Earphones are nice; ghetto blasters are better.
There are lots of crazy people in post-graduate college. Further proof that the educational system is easy to fool.
I am afraid of bears in the woods, and lions in the jungle. I am not afraid of jumping into a municipal fountain or singing along to the car radio at the stoplight.
