THE STORY
The band formed in 1991 with Paul McCullum on drums, Terry McDougall playing bass and Sid Roberts as second guitarist along with Jobson and Witcher, and recorded a brace of scorching EPs.
They shared the stage with likes of Body Count, Tool, Primus, Fugazi, Sepultura, Rollins Band, The Damned, L7 and Bad Brains, before undergoing numerous line-up changes, which saw Beasly and Evans enter the picture.
in late 1995 they were intercepted by RoadRunner Records and reconvened as a four piece for the Character Building Hell Trip and Poison Carnival albums - (Poison Carnival being a re-release of the first two ep's)...but politics and rock met that oft volatile collision, and the remnants of that enterprise can be seen on the inside cover of ''Scratching at the Windows''.

In 2006, the band was rebuilt with members of Brisbane punk band Psychotic Lemmings and under the name Jobson's Dreamkillers intended a one off show for 4ZZZ Market Day. The response of said show eventuated in a full publishing retrieval, and the waltz of the line up shuffle. At stake were 94 recorded works, which saw the band take on it's defaulting record label in an 11 year battle - resulting in the spoils of full publishing rights, which were returned via SONY then APRA (thank you to both parties immensely).The Psychotic Lemmings should be congratulated for their exclusive assistance also. This paved the way for a string of successful headline shows and an appearance on the Overcranked Festival 07
More line-up shuffles, and the bright move to install ANTZ and KRISTIAN was undertaken. The band dropped the ''Jobson's'', and the "DREAMKILLERS" continue, releasing a double album attack !...... an album of 13 remastered classics "Scratching At The Windows" and a ''straight to desk'' 14 tracker of completely new material, with the WILSON brothers, various LEMMING members, and SWANBO (This ones titled "The Dark Years").
The band are busy writing a new ep right now - ready for a Summer 09 release. Signs show the band are set to slam the sound underway better than ever before.

some sad sad news after so many years and so many highs and lows two eps extensive amounts of gigging breakneckspeed are deciding to call it a day,with brad having family comitments he has decided to leave bns to focus %100 of his energy into raising his two beautiful children and not having the time to play in a band and raise a family he has had to leave we have had so much fun and have had an absoloute blast playing in bns and playing alongside brad and have got some really good memorys that will last a lifetime and we wish brad and his family all the best with his life after bns we will be playing our last show on the 5th of dec at the miami shark bar gold coast so make sure you all come along and send us off in style hope to see yas all there and thanks for everones support and help over the years thanks heaps.......breakneckspeed
