Dream Of Illusion project started in 2003 with a very young line-up. They grew up with covers of the most famous hard-rock bands such as Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Deep Purple and more. The 2005 marked the turning point of the band!In this year they achieved good placings in national and european festivalsfacing high-relief national artists. This results improved the growth of the band and pushed them to compose their own songs, approaching to heavy-metal sounds! However their music is influenced by many genres providing them an original sound that moves away from the classic features of metal. The first line-up shows a female voice, who leaved the band in 2007 . On June 2007 Francesco Valentini, the new singer, joined the band taking back to the band the lost stability.Since the change of line-up the band gradually moved away from musical contests to play in the live clubs gaining popularity and rising their reputation.Now DOI's songs show a mix of heavy kickin' ass riffs and melodic voices resulting in a modern and original kind of metal that satisfies not only pure metalheads but also the masses!
