About me:

Hello MySpacers. I'm Ron, affectionately know to all my fellow Tangerine Dreamers as Prophet 5, a name I adopted in memory of the legendary analogue synthesiser, one of which I used to program at my local Cotswold recording studio. Tangerine Dream have been an integral part of my life ever since RUBYCON was aired on the John Peel show, many moons ago. They continue to innovate, in the world of "electronic" music, and will no doubt continue to do so, for the next decade at least. Long live "THE DREAM".

Who I'd like to meet:

Well, that's an easy question to answer. The man who is TANGERINE DREAM. Edgar and I are long overdue a chat over a cup of coffee. He's a GENIUS, and I'm sure he'd chastise me for saying this, but, I've collected his music, and, I've just started collecting his brilliant artwork. What more can I say?

Welcome to the Future!!! Friendship for the Thanks!!
It's official! Hawklords are confirmed to headline an all-day
'implosion' at London's Roundhouse on Sunday, March 8th. Following
the success of the now-legendary 'Hernia Bay' Robert Calvert memorial
concert, ex-Hawkwind/lords Nik Turner, Jerry Richards, Terry Ollis,
Martin Griffin, Alan Davey, Adrian Shaw, Harvey Bainbridge, Ron Tree
and Steve Swindells will be performing with special guests, including
Bridget Wishart , (more to be confirmed) and four
dancers (The Bubblettes!!!!) choreographed by Angel Flame. It promises to be a spectacular
event,and will also be a special tribute to the late Barney Bubbles,
who had such massive creative imput with Hawkwind/lords (an excellent
book about BB called 'Reasons To Be Cheerful' by Paul Gorman is now
available in Paul Smith shops worldwide). The stage set will be based
on his original designs for The Space Ritual, which were never
actually used, so this will be a first. Think Pythagorus and the music
of the spheres. Doors open at 3pm. 'Space this watch' for more details, including
