About me: well, ask me why i'm drunk alla time
it levels my head and eases my mind
i just walk along and stroll and sing
i see better days and i do better things
Of course you could, really! I'll just see when the next time my dad is going flying (: Also, that's a really adorable memory!
Thank you, Ian (:
Do trains often echo off the hill on the other side of your house? Also, I love trains. They sound lonely, but I think I would like to be on one a lot.
And I would be very sad if you had taken that back because I love you!
I love airplanes so much (: My dad is a recreational pilot, you should come to the airfield in Hood River with me sometime! I'm learning to fly gliders (but it really fucking freaks me out) and since my dad tows the gliders in his Cessna, we can go up in the glider and it's magical and terrifying and wonderful!
I always listen to Moon and Antarctica on airplanes! It's just, it feels so disconnected and isolated. So it's airplane music and, aside from 3rd Planet, it's sad music and it's wandering music. Life Like Weeds is definitely one of my favorite songs.
Sorry, my tutor (who is a very lonely man) came and I was called away /:
I never really thoguht of their album names as obnoxious, just difficult to type all the way out hahaha. Speaking of which, I love Modest Mouse because not only is each album conceptual (more or less...sometimes it's not too focused) but they've each got a different...sound, I suppose? One for each mood (:
I think I would like to listen to more Tool! I've always kind of thought of A Perfect Circle as really hypnotic, you know? And I feel the same about Tool, and I'm very into it.
Hej, or hej hej means both 'hello' and 'goodbye,' informally (: And also, it's katten, not katte. I mixed that up, katte is plural haha
I think my second album was Moon and Antarctica, and then This Is a Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About (such long album names!).
I think I'm getting into Tool. It's weird because I'm so used to A Perfect Circle and hearing Maynard perform as part of another band was odd the first few times I listened to Tool, since his voice is so unique (:
Hahaha it was a weird thing to think, but there you have it
Yeah, especially because I don't remember anyone else being there. Thank you.
And yeah, yeah totally! I definitely feel like it's a matter of never getting over them. Because when I discover or rediscover some album I love, it's like this intense need to listen to it a lot, and I do, and then that love just kind of fades. Not completely, but it's not the same either. Whereas with Modest Mouse, I just retain that always. I think I bought my first Modest Mouse album when I was in seventh grade (:
Haha I had resigned myself to the fact that we were going to be trick-or-treating forever. Like, I wasn't upset about it. I just believed the rest of my life was going to be spent trick-or-treating haha, since we spent like six (or one hahaha) hours out there. And then BAM we were back at Russell's.
Yeah, I dunno how long that was, but it was nice (: The perfect thing ever I think though, would be early morning while it's raining and listening to Moon and Antarctica. That would be ideal haha.
They're just the band I always go back to, you know? Like I have phases of loving certain bands or certain albums, but it's always just about Modest Mouse for me (:
If I were a zombie pin-up, I'd definitely have an iancat (:
Right? I think we probably also listened to Psychotic Girl by the Black Keys because I love that song haha. Oh my god, being on that couch was awesome haha. I was crashing and totally happy with it.
It's not so much that they're intentionally nosy, just needy :b Hahaha
I just think it's perfect! Like, I looked spectacularly dead and you looked spectacularly...cat. Like, right after you left, Russell came running down the stairs and was all out of breath and whispered:
"Okay...first of all...that was A FUCKING DISNEY CHARACTER that just walked out of my house!"
Also, what did we even listen to? I remember Modest Mouse and A Perfect Circle, but that was when we got back to Russell's! I also remember having a really hard time holding everything.
Okay (: You've got me beat, then, because I'm pretty sure I'd have to be listening to the song to actually place the lyrics haha
I will upload all of them in a few days (: Probably when my dad isn't home, because every time I resize pictures and stuff he stands behind me asking things like "Who's that?" "Whatcha doing?" "What's the story behind this one?" "When was this?" "Why are you making that face?"
I like it especially because it's like a paparazzi shot haha. Because you're looking at the camera kind of uncertainly (why does that not even seem like a word?) and Sarah's in the background looking eerie and I just am not even noticing (:
And don't feel stupid! There are only a few, like...instantly recognizable lyrics from that song. The rest make you need to think about where they're from (:
I love that picture hahahaha You can be ashamed or so proud of what you've done, but not no one, not now, not ever or anyone. Take 'em all for the sense of hapiness that comes from hurting deep down inside, or you could walk the line and give a shit, give a shit!
have you talked to Charles lately?
Hahaha I was so unhappy that day!
heyy=]

And yes, please!
Whaaaaat?
Lightning and aliens! No, Ian no!
<3
I'm afraid he is a very lonely man.
I always listen to Moon and Antarctica on airplanes!

Okay! Okay, yes. I'm going to get on that!

It's not sleeping time, yet.
