Here I will write random articles featuring crazy things. You'll just have to see because there is no telling how long an article will be poster or how many at one time an article will be posted. Could be a day, a week, whatever. You could even find jokes here too. Whether you laugh or not is up to you (and me too I guess.) I will give credit to who I got them from. Send me some if you want and I just might post them here and give you credit. Let's have some fun people.
I'll start the jokes with my own brand. Please note that sometimes I have to mis-spell the words because some of my jokes are designed by how you say them as opposed to how you read them. You'll see.

MUSIC SPOTLIGHT
In this edition of the Music Spotlight I present to you Highway Freeway
. Ross is a humble and very thankful talented musician from La Capitola, California. The song you playing on this page is called Lazy Eyes.
I think his music really gives you the "road trip" feeling. The quality is pretty good too. I really wanted to go somewhere when I heard his music. So I siphoned the neighbor's gas and went to White Castle. Then, after getting a stomach ache I went to jail. It was fun. Just kidding. None of that happened. I did want to slap something though. His music is that energetic.
Ross spent a whopping three years pouring passion and energy into a ten song album called For Every After, an Indie project well worth the effort. I ask you to please check Highway Freeway today and see if you want to race a train in bare feet like I did. You can even purchase the album or individual tracks on his site at http://www.myspace.com/highwayfreeway. If you feel like leaving him a message or comment let him know that Daniel sent ya!
Are you a cool a** musician that you think I'd enjoy? Seriously? You mean it? Then why don't I know about you? (maybe I do) If you want featured and some free exposure send me a message with the subject "I WANT TO BE FEATURED IN YOUR MUSIC SPOTLIGHT". I'll give you a listen and tell you honestly if I like it or not. The only catch is, I have to like it. Or like you as a person. Shouldn't be that hard. So what are you waiting for? I still have room in my INBOX. Get to it brother (or sister!)
Here are some other cool musiciains I've met in one form or another that I thoroughly enjoy.
Billy Mallery, legendary composer who has had a major hand in many projects such asHalo 2, the video game, and worked with directors David Fincher, Michael Bay, Janusz Kaminski, David LaChapelle, Mark Pellington, Joe Pytka and Zack Snyder. Check him out at
www.malleryscores.com
If you like Billy Mallery and Enya, even Enigma, check out the dashing Catya Maré. Her lovely violin and soothing sounds make you swear a movie is playing in your mind. Check out the legend for yourself at www.catyamaremusic.com;
Movies
Here you can find several talents including some silly, ridiculous comedy skits I've filmed and movies I've starred in that I am allowed to put on here.
This comedy skit, Serial Dough Killer, was done by me and Louisville's hip/hop artist Trajik, who I can tell you is really Josh Slaughter, my cousin. It is about a pair of originally created dough buddies who find out a serial dough killer is on the loose. It's a silent comic strip just crazy enough to enjoy.
Television
Soon to come in this section will be shows I found that I'd like for you to check out. These people have to give me permission to put them on here or you won't see them. Part of me keeping things real for everyone. Enjoy!

The rare Dream Shade: Suit of Aragon: Kane's Quest.
Do a search for www.geocities.com/dreamshadebook to see the rare published novel which is the third book in the Dream Shade series. (A rewrite is in the works.) It was to be a stand alone story about when Kane was grown up and finally wields the powerful supernatural suit of armor. However, due to popular demand an entire four novel series is expected to be done.
AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT
Guess who I have in store for you in this edition of the AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT ? Historical fiction writer Lynny Prince. Nice ring to the name huh? Her latest novel, Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghost Killer will have you thinking "whoah, that was one hell of a ride!" Maybe not, but it did me. In fact, it did a complete 180 during the middle and I never saw it coming. So, do you want to know what it's about? I'm going to tell you.
Scattered Leaves: The Legend of Ghost Killer is a fictional tale about the historic Great Sioux Uprising in 1862. In Minnesota on December 29th of that year 38 full blooded and mixed blood Sioux Indians were hanged. Why? Various crimes against white settlers. Crimes? yest, crimes related to the unjust and unfair actions that the government was doing instead of honoring the treaties. The hangings are known as the largest mass execution in United States History. Unless you count natural disasters. Just kidding. Natural disasters really can't be compared to mass hangings just like batteries can't really be compared to a hamster running on a wheel.
The story itself takes place in the town of Moccasin Flats. It is about a curse that has haunted the citizens of the town for over 140 years, a curse called from the gallows the day that horrible execution occured.
Kyle is the main character in the story, a 7th generation Ghost killer whose ancestor was hanged on that fateful day. HIs fate was to save his people and that began quite a journey! He returns after a long absence to find out that he was accused of the latest grizzly murders in that small town. How's that for a welcome home present? Oh, it comes with a tasteless cake too because his childhood sweetheart has a vengeful vendetta for him. Let me quote the author herself...
"The time has arrived for Kyle to face the dreaded curse head on, which pits him against dark forces. It’s a fierce battle between good and evil; which will win?
Can the help of his uncle and a seasoned police officer save Ghostkiller from the hangman’s noose and forever alter history for all Plains Indians?
Suppose you want to know more about the author (and I hope you do.) Check more out about her and her full blooded Indian husband at http://www.lynnyprince.com. You'll find other cool things including their organization Red Road Awareness where they raise money for many unfortunate victims of troubled times. When you check her out, tell her Daniel sent ya!
Yes, yes you too can be in the AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT if you have something related. All you have to do is send me a message with the subject I WANT TO BE FEATURED IN YOUR AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT and I'll do it. Well, I'll take a look at what you have to see if it relates. If I have time, I'll read and give it a review too. Either way, it's worth a shot, right? So what are you waiting for? Make like a pair of glasses and see to it! (I just made that joke up. How corny was that?)

Get while the gettin's good. Now, on to my novel...
Meet Kane Arthur Goodman, the laughing stock of the middle school. Day after day it’s the same old thing; clothes ragged, hair a mess, barely any muscle tone, no attention span and easily forgettable. The only time he seems to snap out of his constant daze is when a fight breaks out. Even then, when he tries to save the innocent, he gets stomped. Badly.
Meet the new Principal of the school, Mill Andrew Kinner. Upon first glance of young Kane he immediately begins to question Kane’s demeanor. However, he is quickly shunned by the faculty and staff who stay as far away as possible. Why? Because people die who get involved with Kane. Violently. Horribly. Sickeningly. As soon as someone begins to speak of Kane they begin to physically die right in front of Kinner’s face. Anyone who tries to improve the mood and lifestyle of Kane is hunted by the Shadow Men. Absolutely anyone.
Kinner interferes anyway and finds himself in pointblank range of a stunningly cruel evil. It will take all of his love, faith, and determination to get behind the answers that keep Kane in his dull state and to break the seal of evil bestowed upon Kane. He will even go through hell itself if he has to. If Kinner fails humanity will never know why Kane is The Chosen.
Would you like to sample the first chapter? Well, I'll give you the first 3 chapters. Head to the blogs at the top of the page titled Initiation Day: Chapter 1 and Initiation Day: Chapter 2
and Initian Day: Chapter 3.
Please send a request for the next 2 chapters if you liked the previous two.
