Dream Soda…world fusion: Since 2006, Dream Soda has been captivating audiences around South Africa with their well blended fusion sound. Although inspired by many world music genres, Dream Soda has developed a multicultural appeal strongly routed with a Deep South African groove. Imaginative and unique, the band inspires a soulfull mood and captivates the very essence of what it means to be a South African…. A mix of cultural dynamics spiced up with an urban sophistication. The former trio consisting of Giam (Guitar & Vocals), Damien (Drums) and Dez (Bass) expanded recently with new member Adam (Keyboard and electronic noise). The now quartet is re-launching its new direction December 2007. The Carpet Mafia	Jun 25 2007 9:19 AM Hey guys, We are selecting our favourite SA bands (any genre) to market to new clients, including corporate/public gigs in SA & abroad and possible airplay on North America's biggest non-commercial radio station, Seattle's KEXP. We're looking for demos, albums or songs that represent the best of what you do. If we like what we hear, we'll push your group through our channels. Our goal is to help up & coming and more established acts increase their exposure and ultimately improve their performance fees. Our promotional services and advice are 100% free; if you accept a gig we book for you, we take a percentage of your performance fee (10-20% depending on the event, client, etc...) We have an established network of designers, venues, media contacts, recording studios and work with the likes of 340ml, Lark, Freshlyground, Napalma (Brazil) & the Carpet Mafia among others. We are currently putting together a digital presentation where we will showcase artists, with their profiles, biographies, tech riders, fee structures, press pics etc. in order to provide in depth information of each individual artist to the promoter/venue/agent who will receive the package. Though this product is still in the developmental stages, it will be ready by end of June 2007.
