About me:

I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much. ~ ~ Mother Teresa I am Claudia Lopez, to most people...just a weird, strange and an outsider. For the past 20 some years, I have been involved in the fashion, pageant and entertainment world. Very few people know what I really am all about. Very few know what really inspires me. Privacy, is important to me and for that reason, I respect others privacy. Once you go on my space or face book, I realize your life becomes very public. But, you show what you want to show. I know a lot of people of all repeat all walks of life. However, I feel most comfortable around simple, spiritual and humble people. I hate gossip, confrontations, negative people, mean spirited people. Do not believe in the word NO or CAN'T. I see obstacles as a chance to slow down and a message that I might be going too fast. No one is in control of my Destiny, but myself. I have been married since 2001 and Sammy is the most wonderful guy in the world. I am lucky to have the husband I have. Most females dream of the perfect guy and marriage. I live it everyday. I live in a dream world full of love, I know I will never have to wake up from. If you knew my husband, you would have to agree. His smile is real and he never drops it. My mother in law raised a fine gentleman who knows how to provide and love. I was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas. I have 3 wonderful loving brothers, we are very close. I have 4 nieces and a nephew on the way as of March 09 that I love to death and 2 nephews who are pretty cool. I love to travel, do not like to drive, I love to meet new people. I do not eat meat or fish (it has been 13 years), I am in the San Felipe Amistad Lions Club (President for 07-08) and have been PR director for the past 4 years. I am also involved in the Juneteenth Committee, MLK, Just us Chix, Plaza del Sol Mall Fashion Board, Casa del Abuelo, Gifts for the Needy, Brown Plaza Association, Feast of Sharing and Cesar Chavez events just to name a few. As a high school student I always volunteered around the community. I still believe in giving back to the community. One of the hardest things I have had to learn is that.... It is harder to be nice then it is to be mean or rude to others. Sometimes, I have felt like someone does not deserve the nice attention from me, but who am I to go against what the Lord wants from us. So, for that reason, I have come to understand that rude, mean spirited people will always exist and that if they dislike me for a reason........then they are the ones with a problem and not me. 14 years ago I had a Near Death Experience. I saw my self dead and doctors all around me bringing me back (you'll have to ask if you want to know more). Because of that my love for Angels was born. I believe in Life after Death. I love all that is Spiritual and Mystic. I love the time I allow myself to meditate. In May 06 a tv station opened up in town. Sam & I started to help behind the scenes. On July 16, 2006 Innermind Connection -- Owners Sammy and Claudia Lopez joined the TVAW Ch 75 Program Director Dept. Sam and Claudia worked as a team and enjoyed bringing you news and interviews that caught your eye. I have also, co produced a show called Trendi Chix. Thanks Silvia Gaona and Alex Wheeler for the opportunity. In June of 08, I left my full time job at the pharmacy...to pursue other dreams. I opened up a Charm, Pageantry, Modeling and More type studio. I work out of 112 W Losoya St. I also produce and direct pageants and fashion shows. I love charity work and I use to host a Televised talk show called "The Late Show with Claudia Lopez". Pretty much, I guess I am a workaholic to an extent. But, my husband, baby and I always work as a team....so it does not feel as a job. If it was not for my husband, I would not be able to do a lot of the things I do. He is my producer most of the time. Currently, I am a featured Colum writer with the Del Rio News Herald. My Colum is called "The VIP Forum". I am also a writer for Lipstick magazine, and I occasionally do radio commercials, and emcee weddings and quinceaneras. I am terrified of doing wrong to others, as I am a strong believer of KARMA. I direct and produce pageants and fashion shows and currently have over 35 queens of all ages under my direction. I produce local, state, regional and national events. I just took over the Eagle Pass Mall de las Aguilas productions, and I enjoy working for the Spinach Fest pageant. Among others. My husband and I also have a DJ sound and lighting service, which I manage. I must say being married to a Dj so awesome. My husband does work with the U.S. Marshals. He is a handsome man!!!!!!! I love to help the needy and others. I have been involved with pageants for the past 2 decades. I am a very happy person and have one little girl. Back in the 90's I was in the High School Drill Team (Queen City Belles) my Little girl was selected at the 2007 - 08 Lil Miss Belle Mascot. Wow! I was so glad. She is a wonderful miracle to us. I was told I could not have babies and she was a 10lb baby. Ouch! I had her natural with no pain killers. Yes! I can take the pain. LOL! She is involved with ballet, tiny cheer, dance, fashion board, tap, modeling, pageants, singing, baile folklorico, well....I think she wants to sing too. I am BIG on Building Self Esteem. So, I am also the self esteem program director and public relations director of the 501 c3 Just Us Chix non profit organization. It was founded by 2 wonderful friends who wanted to empower, inspire, encourage and help women. I believe in this and now direct the Pretty Girls in Pink Cheer and Dance performing squad. It started off for low income young girls who can't afford private cheer and dance lessons or school uniforms. We provide the same service free of charge. The girls are only charged a one time $120.00 fee for the uniform. Our cheer and dance instructors are volunteers. We are endorsed by our City officials and US Congressman Ciro Rodriguez. Our squad had 45 girls and they are all encouraged to do good in school. In August 2008 after thinking about it over and over again. I came to the conclusion that people ask because they want or need. Since everyone keeps asking me I am forming the New Dance Based Semi Pro - Texas Lone Star Dancing Divas Cheerleaders for girls ages 16-25 yrs of age. Married or single with or without kids. They will perform at charity and community events with a chance to get paid for promotional gigs. If you do not know what it is it is an ancient and wise approach to the way our environment affects us. The ancient Chinese strongly believed that where you live and how your furniture and living space are arranged have a direct effect on your luck, health, and general spirituality. The best way to tell the future is to create It. .... "I Am a Divine Being with a Divine Purpose." .. All that is mine by Divine Right is now released and reaches me in great avalanches of abundance, under grace in miraculous ways.
