Dreamwind Records owner and 1997 Gold Cross Instrumentalist Of The Year, Cal Denison has traveled with, CMA nominated Rich McCready (Winner of TNN Video of the Century “Hangin’ On”) Earl Wear and Coltrain, The Helmsmen, Gospel Lads, Desi Hickman,Matt Coleman, Sarah Dunn, Multiple Dove Award Winner Dwayne Friend, And produced and played on over 500 albums including Grammy Award Winner Jody Miller and Dwayne Friend.
Cal produced a one hour TV show for two years “Music Of The Midwest” featuring national and regional talent including Brooks and Dunn, Brad Paisley, Perfect Stranger, Grammy winner Jody Miller, Dove winner Dwayne Friend, The Hemphills, Les Gilliam, Byron Berline and some of the worlds greatest fingerstyle guitarists .
The show aired World wide over The Global Broadcast Network, Dish Network, and Direct TV and was viewed by millions of people around the world.
Cal’s instrumental music has been used for numerous national and regional TV and radio programs and documentaries as theme music, including ESPN, The Lohman Game Calls nationally syndicated radio program The Christian Sportsman, Christian Country Today, and The Great Plains Review. TV documentaries include The Waco Incident, and Ruby Ridge.
Cal has taught and performed at the annual Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention in Nashville Tennessee.
