Emerging from the ashes of Dressing Up Letters, ‘The Centralia Mine Fire’ is determined to distance themselves from a scene drenched in mediocrity with piano driven indie-rock that is sure to appeal to even the most calloused of individuals. With a new lineup and the band’s new musical vision, TCMF is poised to bring an entirely new approach to a crowded genre. Founded in 2009, the original members are T.J. Syndram [Piano, Lead vocals] John Schick [Guitar, Bgv] Ryan Murphy [Bass] and Justin Brauchler [Drums]. The Centralia Mine Fire is planning on recording their first EP in early June and taking their energetic live show on tour shortly after.
