About Drew DeLaune

This is my new beginning. I started playing piano when I was 12 and began writing music at 13. I was 16 when I picked up a guitar and began writing acoustic songs almost immediately. After playing in an alternative rock cover band throughout college, music went on the back-burner as I started a family. I've never stopped writing music during that time, but the drive to start playing my music to an audience has increased steadily over the years. I'm a fairly prolific songwriter, but my insecurity and pursuit of perfection has consistently kept me from putting my music "out there." So I'm committed now to laying it out on the line, and if I don't get the response to my music that I've always hoped for, at least I'll have no regrets.
