GUSTAVE	1 Haz 2008 01:25 Man, I know I've said it before, but your music has made for some really nice moments for me. Like just now I wandered by your page here, as you see, and the Memphis song is going and from outside my cavern I can here the thunder coming on and I'm just thinking, "Damn, you know it just don't get no perfecter'n 'is." Oh, and then I made a rotation of CDs for at the store so I don't have to endure the radio-drone-of-mediocrity when I'm there, right? And in among the 2-or-so-hundred songs is "Home" and it always makes me stop whatever I'm doing (which - I won't front - is pretty often nothing) for a minute and think, "Yeah, there are parts of life that aren't so bad." Or I just want to take my customer aside and go, "Hey. Guess what. That guy singin'? I know him. We're, like, buds." And then the best thing is that I have a particularly wacky bunch of songs set aside for work in the studio, and they always begin with Riley singing, "Good Morning! Good Morning! Good Morning To You!" You know that one mp3 you sent where he goes off with the crazy freestyle jam about the crocodiles and the blackouts and who-knows-what-all? That stuff just makes all of us smile real big. I like to really crank it. It's so the best way to start the day.
