Am mostly done with MySpace at this point. (Only log on once or twice a year.) Anyone interested in following me can do so on the Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/drewmelbourne (where I post surprisingly frequently), and at http://www.drewmelbourne.com (where I post less frequently, but with a larger character count).
Making my regular once-quarterly visit to my MySpace page (Hi, MySpace page!) to plug the new Double Steak Day mini-site at DrewMelbourne.com.
This is one of my goofy side-projects, and nothing to be taken too seriously. But if you enjoy steak and/or two steaks and/or silliness, this is well worth your three minutes.
For anyone who missed it and cares about this sort of thing (or missed it, doesn't care, but is oddly obsessed with clicking every link they see, or didn't miss it, but likes reading the same things more than once), here's a link to the first chapter of my sci-fi fantasy mystery quest novel, Percival Gynt and the Conspiracy of Days:
I'm currently about 75 pages in, so I'm still a long way from finishing. I may wind up "releasing" a few more chapters over the coming months so folks can see how it's shaping up.
Of course, it may turn out that the final novel looks nothing like these early chapters. Who knows... By the time I'm done, the whole thing may have morphed into a generational epic about a family of longshoremen who start a rock band to end the Cold War.
Crap. Now I really want to write something called Docks Svidaniya!
