Always Drew Davis (vocals/piano), but company often includes:
Noah Davis - guitar/bass
Josh White - cello
Jake Langknect - drums
Cruz Davis - bass
Brandon Paul - drums
Jim Zartman - almost everything on the recordings and drew's main source of inspiration :)
Drew has been performing live since she was eleven-years-old and began writing music when she was six-years-old. Now, Drew is a young musician just trying to get her music out there and share it with all those who would like to listen! Drew started playing with other musicians a few years ago and loved it! and loves them! however, Drew still often plays by herself. Finally, seven years after her crappy baby CD from 2001, Drew has new album out called "Traffic" and definitely thinks you should purchase it off of iTunes, Amazon, etc., etc. Drew writes all of her own music, but is so fortunate to be graced with the talents of a variety of wonderful musicians who play things on the recordings that she can't. So listen and let us learn what you think, because there's always LOTS of room for improvement and who better for advice to come from than someone that likes the music to begin with! :)
take care and peace.
Drew would like to take a moment to thank:
Mom - For investing so much of yourself into my music. I really appreciate all the things you do for me.
Jim Zartman - You are my music guru and you know I think the world of you. Without you, I would still be writing 8-minute-long songs that had one chord progression! haha! Love you pastor! <3
Noah - For being such a cool brother. Thanks for sacrificing your weekends to play on my "emo" songs :).
Brian Reidinger, Melissa Vickerman, and everyone else at Inthegroove Music - For making such an incredible album for me and believing in me enough to take me under your wing. Thank you so much.
Suzie Simpson - For booking shows for me since I first started playing out, and for always looking out for me :).
Friends - For coming to hear me play and always supporting me! You guys are absolutely awesome and I can't thank you enough for everything.
Urban Transit - For making me finally play more shows and turning music into something I want to actually pursue. You guys rock, and I know you are going places.
Everyone who looks at this - For being as obsessed with myspace as I am, and listening to my tunes! Thanks guys! Enjoy!
Drew would also like to take a moment to recognize the wonderful Katie Reider. Katie recently passed away July, 2008 at age 30 from a rare and deadly tumor. If you have not been lucky enough to hear Katie's music, please take some time to visit www.500in365.org to hear her story and find out how you can help her family. Katie was an extremely important mentor to Drew throughout her years, and to say she will be missed is an unbelievable understatement. We love you and miss you. Rest in peace.
