Imagine mixing John Mayer's pop, Bob Dylan's folk, and the vocal clarity of Josh Groban. What you'd have is the refreshing new sound of Barrie singer/songwriter Drew Parker.
Drew’s debut acoustic pop/rock album, “On My Way Home,” reached the 2009 Grammy Award’s first round, alongside artists such as Neil Diamond and Jakob Dylan. Critics have called it “Refreshing, positive, and delightful,” (Chris Carrigan, 97.7 The Beach) and a “Masterful experience.” (The Epoch Times
Before starting to promote his new album, Drew first helped a cause close to his heart by participating in a North-American concert tour in support of human rights in China. The tour featured Drew’s single “Mother China,” which he performed with drummer Sterling Campbell from the B-52s. The song tells the story of the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong, a peaceful exercise practice emphasizing truth, compassion, and tolerance. Drew is also donating all proceeds from the song to efforts to stop the persecution.
This summer Drew performed in Kempenfest and Barrie’s New Music Festival. His single “Christine” won the award for “Best Folk” at Barrie’s New Music Awards, and has played on Rock 95, 95.1 The Peak FM, LA’s 104 FM, and was performed live on A-Channel’s “A Morning” show.
Though it took an exhausting two years to complete “On My Way Home,” what kept Drew and his team going was the wish to give fans a stellar musical experience with a positive vibe. Expect to see Drew Parker performing live at various Barrie venues near you, and stay tuned for the up-and-coming “Christine” music video!

Anyway if you're interested in donating something I'd be happy to put that up together with a link to your site and so forth.
I have to a lot of people's music whom have asked me to do so... out of all of them, few were okay. I think that you are better than just okay, you have an awesome talent. You sound really great with what you do.
Hi, thanks for adding me! And much kudos / congratulations / praise from here; you've helped the cause and you've gotten your own material on sale / in circulation! It's an achievement that says much about your ideals, integrity, talent, and business savvy. (To stick to the knitting and to make it through a multi-year project shows focus and discipline, as well as drive and determination.)
Have a safe trip back home, Drew! We were very happy to see you perform at the Human Rights Torch Relay, and honored to share the stage with you, especially to support such an amazing cause.
Thank you very much Drew for supporting to unhold Justice in the face of Human rights violations going on in China, where thousands of Falun Gong practionners, Chinese Christians, Uyghurs muslims, Buddhist monks and all other victimes we won't forget are suffering.
Beginning in March 2006, The Epoch Times published many articles to expose the forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China. For believing in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance...
