THE DREW QUESTELL BAND
==================
=================
DEREK ARNOLD-Bass/Vocals: Ever since the ripe age of 4, Derek Arnold has been following in the footsteps of his father, Harvey Arnold, the bassist for the legendary rock band "The Outlaws." They have been seen onstage with such bands as Lynyrd Skynyrd and others. Derek is a very gifted player and, today, he continues to further his instrumental repertoire and compose his own classical music. It is an honor to have Derek on board.
=================
DANIEL ANDERSON-Guitar: 25-Year-Old Daniel Anderson is not your ordinary blues guitar player. He is best known for his slide work, but Daniel can keep up with just about anything. His eclectic tastes and styles make him a great addition to the band. He is also a former member of Bad Mojo with Dan Stahl. Danial has been onstage with some of the finest bluesmen of the current day including Bob Margolin, and Robert Randolph just to name a couple. Daniel's playing is simply amazing, and we all enjoy having him play with us.

Drew Questell is a blues guitarist, vocalist, and harmonica player from Raleigh, North Carolina. He grew up listening to mostly country music on the local radio stations, and it wasn't until later that Drew picked up playing guitar. Around the age of ten, he started taking guitar lessons. As time went by, he improved his craft and eventually, his music caught the ear of a local radio host. Through this man, Drew was exposed to the blues in its raw form. He was introduced to John Dee Holeman, the Bull Durham Blues player who inspired Drew to leave country music behind and set his sights on a new genre; the Blues. Since then, Drew has played many venues throughout the triangle area. His music has been heard on the air through NPR radio stations like 88.9FM in Raleigh, and 91.5FM in Chapel Hill. Drew has also been featured on NPR 's nationally syndicated radio program "The Story." He is currently working with many locally and nationally acclaimed blues artists from around the nation. Drew is also working on his first CD, which he hopes to release sometime this year. The future looks broad for Drew Questell and his music. "I don't really have a plan for where I want to go with it, I'm just along for the ride." He says.
