By going in as an officer I would automatically be at a certain rate. Today I went to a meeting for a new job that I got as an Assistant Manager at Highland Fitness and I found out that I would be making a lot less money. So...I called my Navy recruiter and I am getting everything ready to go for the March board. I will then go to Rhone Island for OCS if I get in. The Air Force is just taking way too damn long. I wouldn't even find out if I got in until June and I could already have a job in the Navy by then. I am glad to hear that things are going fairly well for you. I would imagine that the novelty has worn off a little and that now you have kind of settled in to what you are going to be doing. Think of it this way, you are going to travel the world, see things and have opportunities that only a small percentage of people will ever see and do. I am really proud of you and the people at the Navy office had the nicest things to say about you. I told them that you liked to dance and they thought that was really cool!! I told them that you were my bodyguard when we went out. You are so cute Andrew!! Keep up the good work and I will talk to you soon!
