    Drew Yowell singer/songwriter/producer... Drew Yowell is a producer, songwriter and artist who has worked with legends like Phoebe Snow, David Lasley, Desmond Child, David Benoit, Dae Bennett, and Herb Alpert, and he has played guitar for Sophie B. Hawkins and Kristin Hoffmann, among many others. Most recently, Drew has collaborated with Ari Hest on 2 songs for his upcoming album. Drew was a top 20 Finalist in the 2007 American Idol Songwriter Contest for the song titled "Secrets and Lies" co-written with fellow artist Byron Zanos.
 Drew also co-wrote 2 songs with Phoebe Snow including the title track to her 2003 release “Natural Wonder". The song also appears on Phoebe's 2008 "Live" release. Phoebe Snow describes the songs that she and Drew wrote as "Two of the most beautiful songs I've ever written with anyone”. As a producer, Drew works his magic in a modest but highly effective home studio, then finishes up at the legendary Grammy winning BENNETT STUDIOS. Drew has raised the bar for independent productions working with Byron Zanos; "Somewhere in the Middle" (2005) and "Still in a Fight" (2007) and John Taglieri's "Wide Awake and Dreaming" (2007) As a solo artist - Drew has brought people to their feet with his emotional performances from NY to Nashville - Summer of ’08 and ‘09 Drew was booked for a series of shows at Jones Beach Amphitheater playing the side stage before headliners such as James Taylor, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Chicago, Peter Frampton, Journey and Rod Stewart, among many others. Music Connection Magazine named Drew as one of the Top 100 Unsigned Artists of 2010! 2007 AMERICAN IDOL SONGWRITING FINALIST!!

I had the distinct honor of being a finalist in the first ever AMERICAN IDOL SONGWRITING COMPETITION -
I wrote a song called "Secrets and Lies" with BYRON ZANOS for his first record.
The song was chosen as one of the Top 20 songs in the American Idol Songwriting Competition out of a whopping 25,000 entries!!!

I've finished producing the Byron Zanos album "Still In A Fight." This is the second record I've produced for Byron and I'm really proud of it. The album was recorded mostly at my home studio and then transferred to Bennett Studios in Englewood, NJ. where it was then put into the masterful hands of Dae Bennett, who mixed and mastered it. Byron wrote 10 beautiful songs and allowed me to produce each song with all the artistic integrity they deserved.

I have written songs with: Phoebe Snow, David Lasley, James Maddock, Byron Zanos, Don Paul Yowell, Gina Yowell, among others.

I have played guitar for: Sophie B. Hawkins, Kristin Hoffmann, Beema Duma, Don Paul Yowell, Byron Zanos, Phoebe Snow etc.

I've been very lucky to work with some of the most talented artists in the business!
