In 2002, the original drummer left, and Fatty joined. Drex have only played in Japan, but gigs have been with great bands such as Last Target; Tom & Boot Boys; The Vickers; The Casualties; Oi Skall Mates; 69 Yobsters; The Solution; Oi Valcans, and Cobra;
We released our first demo tape, "GUN" in 2000, limited to 300. In 2001, our second demo tape, "SKULL" (also 300 copies) and our first t-shirts were issued. Both these demos have sold out.
In 2002, we released our third demo "GREATEST DREX RIP OFF", this time on CD.
In 2003, we contributed a track from the 3rd demo for a Thailand only release, the international compilation, "SAWASDEEKAP THAILAND PUNK".
We recorded a new track, 'Get A Live, Live Now!' in 2004 for the Japanese compilation "PUNKS AND SKINS ARE FUCKIN' WALKING DOWN THE STREET".
In 2005, we printed up some new shirts.
This year, saw the release of our first album, "DREGS AND REX", and new shirts. Recently released is the 16-band Street Punk compilation "BOOTBOYS STOMP" on Bootstomp Records, including our track, "Crush The Imitation Unity". It's flippin' choodessny, droogies!
On Dec 31st '06, Cracker joined Drex as second guitarist and onanist. Haha!
Now it's 2007, and more new shirts have been printed. In April, we played our first UK tour, organised by Ant of ONE MAN STAND and Andy from NOIZE ANOIZE. Cheers fellas! Despite a classic broken-down van situation, the tour was a bleedin' marvellous success. Fanx everyone! We'll be back on Blighty's shores... mark our words!
