Drez J is grown to be a talented artist, person and entrepreneur. Learning the values of life that would someday put him on top of his dream. Growing and not having a lot like the other kids, he had to become a man early. Alone at the beginning, all he had was his family. His mom, dad, sister and 4 brothers lived in one house trying to survive. Times were hard, bills and the threat of being homeless were heavily weighing down their strength, and they learn to go without a lot of things. Growing and not having friends like a lot of the other kids, he grown to learn how to be alone, all he had was his family. Young and alone, he learn how life treats you at a early age and knew he had to grow to be a man. At an early age Drez was exposed to multiple form of music but most exposed to the oldies and early hip hop. He listened to a lot of Earth, Wind, and Fire, Maze, Al Green, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, and The Isley Brothers. Listening the greatest composers and performers to every hit a stage influenced him a lot. He would sing the songs while in the car and just keep repeating and trying over and over until he knew and sung the whole song. He even devolved a singing voice also. Always constantly sing his mother gave him the ideal of joining the church choir, but he immediately refused. From the effect of him being alone for so long, he had no confidence in himself and his mother wanting him to be what he wants to be, didn’t force him to do it. Still grow into a man, Drez would go places with his brothers and they always were letting him listen to hip hop (when his parents wouldn’t allow him too). He would listen to Bone Thugs ‘N’ Harmony, Biggie, Tupac, Boogie Boyz, Eazy-E, NWA, Ice Cube, Sleek Rick, and Public Enemy. The artist in him was growing. At this stage Drez was exposed to a lot of music and he loved going out with family so he could ride in the car and listen to music. But music did a really special thing for Drez. It took his mind off of a lot of things. The stress of the world and having no one to lean on in his time of need. Music became that support system for him. Having to grow up at an early stage it taught him to be a leader and not a follower. But their was only one thing wrong, he had no confidence in himself. School time comes around and the beginning of the year was always a hard time for him. Seeing as he didn’t have a lot of people to talk to he stayed by himself and to himself. But it was beautiful time for him really because this is where he discovered he could write poetry. Loving to do poetry assignments in class, Drez’s teachers also loved it because they knew it brings the best of him. He was always the first one to get up and read his poetry and it would always move the teacher. So one day after school, he brought the poem home and showed it to his family. They loved it also. He was told by his dad that “you have a wonderful talent son. Keep writing because you never know where the littlest thing can take.” That saying stuck in his head. After listening to and being exposed to music from all time frames he was equipped with all the tools it takes to back one of the greatest artist to every the stage. But he didn’t know that yet. Time goes by and things get worst after morning the lost of both of his grandmothers, both grandfathers, uncle, and 2 of his cousins being locked in prison, that alone in the world feeling became present again. He went back to the only family that he had left. Around the age of 12, his poem writing decrease until he just stop completely, Drez figured that he would take that hobby back up again. But this time put a beat to it. He would write and think that he wasn’t good enough to be like the big boyz in the industry so he gave up on another dream. But when listening to the radio he would rap his on lyrics to songs. Song after song he would rap but he didn’t think to make a career out of rapping. He would do this off and on, until he decided to try writing again. This he was going to try not to give up. So wrote and let people hear it give advice to him. THEY LIKED IT!!! He was told that he should really think about making a career out of rapping. And he was born. So struggling now to figure out how he was going to do this and want to learn every aspect of the rap game, he stumbled upon an ideal. To make his own studio in his room. He created his own studio in his room with a computer microphone, a sock, a paper clip, electrical tape, and a 7 year old computer. Going by the stage name of Yung Rich, he started making his own beats and recording his own songs and then, making his own MySpace page. Plenty of people like the song at his school but yet behind every leader there is a pack of haters. Some people were saying that he wasn’t good enough or saying that he will never make it. So Drez decided to quit. Until he was told that he is really good artist, but with a little work he could be better. He jumped up and took another crack back at it. Return now with the stage name of Yung Drama. He was spitting better then every. Constantly studying music, how it is composed and how it is written, he was deveplving into a top notch artist. But he didn’t feel as the stage name “Yung Drama” matched him. He felt like the name was to common and he defiantly want to stand out, with the help of his teacher he thought of the name ”Drez J” seeing as it is a combination of his initials and other letters and it is unique, the name fitted him well. So he jumped back on his grind and started making hit after hit after hit. He grew a large fan base, as well as a hater pack. But he was so determined and with the knowledge that he has about the industry and being an artist his is becoming unstoppable. After being on the radio now and people from all over the country loving his music he now has the confidence that he needs. You will soon hear Drez J all over the radio and you’ll be seeing him all over your television. Drez J the Movement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(It’s coming lol)
