Drive Carefully Records is a label promoting interesting and varied non-profit shows in 13th Note Cafe, Glasgow. We have been doing this in one form or another since March 2006. Our gigs are almost always on the 3rd saturday of the month. We also release CDR compilations featuring bands who have performed for us over the previous 6 months.
There are no headliners as such. 3 bands get a thirty minute set and everyone playing gets paid the same, the way it should be. Artists and bands are treated as bands and artists - and not a way for greedy promoters to make money. If you would like to be considered for one of our nights, please send us a wee message.
Releases are on cd-r, most (if not all) tracks are home-recorded and the artwork is handmade. We like D.I.Y
A
4 track EP, titled Call Signs, it provides the perfect introduction to
the band prior to the release of their debut album, Grappling Hooks, in
early 2010.
