How do you understand this word? Speed, rhythm, incessant energy, endless positive
emotions …? Exactly! All these are brought in the modern dance music by the project that emerged in 2005 , and it’s name is Drive Dealers ( real name – Alexander).
In spite of not very long term being on a club scene, achievements of this Dj are really great. Starting from 2005 the creativity of Alexander has been rushing into crowd; that was shown in tracks, remixes as well as in live-performances. The start of official career of this musician was when he appeared on Kiss Fm in the radio show Re-Play with Dj Sender as a host. Drive Dealers presented his first guest-mix, which consisted of his own tracks for 50 %. Since that moment artist’s popularity started to rise up – some capital clubs like Forsage, Saxon and Privilege invited him for permanent performances. In this period style of Drive Dealers is defined as electro-house and electro with an impurity of melodious progressive tracks.
In 2006 creativity of the given DJ was popularly far behind frameworks of a city of Kiev, and the musician stepped on a new career level, namely goes on tour on cities of Ukraine and Russia. This year probably the most important stage is opened for the musician. The first Drive Dealers’ releases started to come out on the Send Records label. Each work found the listener, and with confidence it was possible to tell that the musician was moving in a correct direction
In 2007 Alexander masters one more branch of the musical industry. The new radio-show DRIVE started on Kiss FM. It would seem that the musical life is adjusted, and the career on the near future is defined. But the natural expression and love to experiments of the given DJ has got the best.
Drive Dealers changes a sound in progressive-techno, minimal-techno and comes nearer to minimal sounding. Musical changes do not keep waiting long, and same year yield fruits in the form of the award for the best remix under version UDMA (Ukrainian Dance Music Awards). In the given nomination Alexander had worthy competitors – Dj Lutique, Dj Move, Dj Noiz, Dj Sender, Dj Binokl’ but nevertheless the remix from Drive Dealers on track Dj Stranger – Requiem has been recognized the best. A bit later, there is an acquaintance to live-game, namely ABLETON LIVE – sounding Drive D cardinally varies in minimalism.
In 2008 the list of achievements totals already a significant amount of author's releases (you can check the full discography on the next page). Track We Can Talk takes of the higher position in Kiss Fm chart. Track. Drive D’s works are rising on every possible dancing charts with excellent speed, and at this time the musician has the possibility to show his skills in live-performance. And not somewhere, but at the grandiose opening of magazine ? 1 about DJing all over the world – Dj Mag, which were brought to Ukraine by Alexander's good friend and the founder of Send Records label – Dj Sender. Live mix has broken a mad applause, and the artist has again shown his professionalism and ability to reach tasks in view.
Considering such bright and successful beginning of year, Alexander was typed weight of inspiration, and, believe, soon we will hear this name - Drive Dealers!
