When we go, we release our energy back to the universe. It might become part of the heat that warms the earth so that beautiful things can grow, or it might become light that helps lead someone back to their home, or it might become the force behind the water that tumbles down a mountainside in a gorgeous waterfall. It goes on and on, changing and yet remaining as energy. So you never know--Rocky, Kodie, Sparky, Emily, Hammy, Foto and Chow Pow are probably all around us. We just can't quite recognize with our eyes that it's them. But that's okay, 'cause we can know in our hearts that it's them, right there with us, when we smell the flowers or head down the hall toward bed or take a nice, cool drink. So try not to be too sad. We're all still here in a way.

Kodie, I dream about those days, too. I has barked wiff other dogs and they don't gets why my heart is still so hurt over your not being here...but it is. It doesn't hurt like it did but there is still such an emptiness when I is thinking of You and how much we Loves each other.
The trip was pretty good. I did good in the car and slept beside Mom last night. Just like the song says...I miss you, now. I miss you always. There is no way anyone could ever have known you and not missed you being wiff them.
