DMC - THE PROJECT:
I am Boyan, writer and producer behind the DMC project. I am a session musician and musical director by profession however I am mostly dedicated to writing music. I am working very hard to get my music recognized at the moment.
I LIVE for this project and it's music!! It is the center and most important thing in my life (next to my family of course).
I have a fantastic team of musicians that have come on board to be part of this quest.
DMC - THE LIVE BAND:
The live band features some of the finest, craziest, extravagant session and jazz musicians from all over the world currently based in London.
For me playing on stage with these guys is the most eclectic feeling I have ever experienced. It's a DRUG more addictive than anything else known to man... I can't get off the 'high' for 3 days after every gig. It is a great honor to have such amazing people be part of this project.
How the band was formed:
In the beginning I spent 92 straight days out, going to gigs every night trying to find these guys.
Criteria: they had to have something truly extraordinary about their playing, give out a positive vibe, and give out mad energy in their playing. The result is the band "Drivin Me Crazy"
The idea was to get a band of a very high level of musicianship as this would be required to perform the music correctly!
The main purpose of this live band is to support original compositions and provide a unique funky disco house experience that is impossible to remember.
About me:
Been preparing for this project all of my life really. It took a lot of hard work, side roads and sacrifices to get here but I am here!...in London... until one of the 2 things happen:
-We get a UK hit single or a hit album... :)
-or go completely broke... which ever one comes first... he he he...
