About me: I’m a psychiatrist and intuitive in Los Angeles with an upcoming book called Emotional Freedom. What I do isn’t my job. It’s my life’s passion. With patients and in workshops, I listen with my intellect and my intuition, a potent inner wisdom that goes beyond the literal. I experience it as a flash of insight, a gut feeling, a hunch, a dream. By blending intuition with orthodox medical knowledge I can offer my patients and workshop participants the best of both worlds.
Now, listening to intuition is sacred to me, but learning to trust it has taken years. I’ve written my books POSITIVE ENERGY, GUIDE TO INTUITIVE HEALING, and SECOND SIGHT to assure anyone whoever thought they were weird or crazy for having intuitive experiences, that they are not!
I want to transform the face of psychiatry which is overly medication dependent and has strayed far from ancient mystical, intuitive origins. We are keepers of an innate intuitive intelligence so perceptive that it can tell us how to heal—and prevent—illness. Yet intuition and spirituality are the very aspects of our wisdom usually disenfranchised from traditional health care.
I come from a family of 25 physicians. I advocate "a democracy of healing," wherein every aspect of our being is granted a vote in the search for total health. It is our birthright, both as health-care givers and health-care recipients, to reclaim our intuition to build energy and well-being. In response to my work, The Los Angeles Times called me “a prominent energy based healer.”--it's a great honor for me to bring energy healing back into the modern world.

Anthony Marr will lead a FUNERAL MOTORCADE FOR THE DEER in Kansas City on Dec. 9, Wednesday, at the Shawnee Mission Park - "Death Park" - where 313 deer have been slaughtered by sharp shooters in November, and another 70-90 are slated to be killed by bow-hunters as of Dec. 9.
Bear in mind that the non-lethal wounding rate by arrow is close to 50%, meaning: to kill 90, they have to shoot 180. And this is in spite of the Immuno-Contraceptive (IC) technology for deer having already been approved for field implementation by both the FDA and the EPA, plus Anthony's own humane, effective and economical IC-delivery invention known as the Auto Deer Assembler (DAA).

Calcutta sounds like a fable in a song, but in reality, it is where John, my colleague and successor, was murdered. He was on the job for only three days when he got his throat slashed. As an undercover investigator targeting the illegal wildlife trade, especially in tiger parts, his real name was unknown, even to me, nor mine to him. We were just John and James to each other. All I know is that he was Chinese American, while his predecessor James - real name Anthony Marr - is Chinese Canadian, and how sincere he was in helping to save the Bengal tiger from being poached out of existence, while its habitat continues to dwindle due to human pressure.
It would have been me who got killed had I not been called to the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh - the "Tiger State" - to investigate a dreadful wave of poaching which wiped out10 of their 40 tigers in 12 months. What John and I were after was the identities of the trading party/ies, the location/s of the loot, and the routes and means by which it was transported to its destination, usually China. Once these were uncovered, we would inform police, who would then go and make arrests and seizures. How we did it is confidential. Suffice to say that we were both posing as Chinese buyers...
