I'm updating the links on my main music web site, and noticed that the link I used to have for your web site -- http://www.drloumusic.com/ -- doesn't appear to be yours anymore. I replaced it with http://www.drlousplace.com/, which seems to be the real deal.
Thanks for letting myself, Kettle, Steven Paul, and Johnny Elliott jam on Saturday night. You had 2/3 of the Johnny Elliott Band and 2/3 of the Steven Paul Band, with Kettle guesting on drums in both cases. It may have been confusing, but it was fun.
Thanks for the add! Kentucky's Rufus Huff debut CD now available on ZOHO Roots and Blues Boulevard Records.
Who's Rufus Huff? Named after two obscure Blues men Whistlin' Rufus and Luther Huff, the Glasgow, Kentucky-based Blues Rock quartet is made up of Dean Smith, Chris Hardesty, Jarrod England and Greg Martin, known for his raucous, incendiary electric guitar playing in the South's hardest country rockers, The Kentucky HeadHunters.
Rufus Huff, steeped in the tradition of Cream, Jeff Beck, Free, Led Zeppelin, Mountain, Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsies, Cactus, and ZZ Top!!!!
Wats up Doc? I stopped in Saturday, I played wit tenielle and played Wild Thing and Johnny B Goode wit your band. Jus wanted to say i had a righteous time and U gota real cool place. - Mike

Dr Lou's is there for all musicians. We always try to get everyone on stage.
I personally apologize to anyone who feels they got overlooked or left out.
It is my intention to create an environment where people play music enjoyable
to each other and that we all get the chance to join in.
Specifically to Kyle Tonde who, when we looked for him to play had stepped out.
We love to have you all play with us and please understand it's confusing and there's
many people tugging at us running the business. We make mistakes sometimes and
we probably will continue to do that, but bear with us and think of the great times
that we've all had. If it ended tomorrow, we've done something that no one has ever done
weve brought the musicians together as a family. We may be dysfunctional to some extent
but all the musicians are my family and I love and appreciate every one...Dr Lou
Yo Dr. Lou's, Johnny Elliott and I had a blast playing a few tunes tonight with Lance on drums. Thanks so much for letting us play, it was a great night. We both plan to come back, and I plan to come back with Steven Paul as well (I play bass for both JE and SP).
Hey Dr. Lou's Place, are you having the open jam again on Saturday (January 17th)? I was going to bring my electric bass and Johnny Elliott and his electric guitar, figuring maybe JE and I could play 3 or 4 tunes with the house drummer...
