A college station comedy band who made their way to cult status fame among Texas A&M University students back in the 1990’s. The band formed in 1990 during spring break. Members included Kerry Shatzer, Kelly Shatzer, Hans Johan Weinfurter, Jason Oakes, and guest singer Christina Hammer. The band played many local clubs and nightspots during their hayday and reached the pinnacle of their success when one of their songs, "Stamp Collecting", was featured on the Dr. Demento radio show.

Greetings to all you who remember and loved the DLatEZ's. I hope all is well in everyone's small piece of the world and wish you all a hearty happy Yule! Yes, it is early but I felt compelled to say something that didn't indicate I have lost my sanity and am typing this note nude, but covered in mustard and Barbie Doll hair.
Howdy all! I've got a new full-length progressive house DJ mix set for ya - Please check it out at www. midiqueen. com/mq_mixsets. html sometime, thanks!!!
Howdy all! If you love dance music, check out the first ever E-FEST on Saturday August 9th from 4pm-2am at the Lone Star Country Club in Coppell! I'll be spinning a short mix set sometime during the event, so please come out and support me and all the other amazing DJs. Plus it's free! Thanks and have a great day!
Thanks everyone for the interest in Dr. Love! And thanks to the lovely Leah for putting all this work into the Myspace page! Let's see: we unfortunately never recorded the Bowling Trilogy. We were quite proud of the fact that we were probably the only band ever to actually perform a trilogy of bowling songs! The songs were "Take the Skinheads Bowling," and I forget who the original artist was, sorry. The second was a spoof of Judas Priest's "Living After Midnight," changed to "Bowling After Midnight." The last was the Dr. Love original reggae style song, "Bowlers of the World Unite." I think I actually remember the chords, but that's about it! Maybe Kerry can find the infamous Notebook!" If you all run into any old "Genetalians," please tell them hello for me, and tell them about the page! Gotta run! I'll try and check back soon. Thanks again, everyone!
Take The Skinheads Bowling! Yeah, you thought of it, but I ran into someone this weekend at the Nebula Awards in Austin who was able to remember the song instantly--Jackson! Hadn't seen him in 15 years. How's that for coincidence?
Take the Skinheads Bowling... BTW, I have the live tape with "A Girl Like You" and "Just to Fix My Car", and "What I Like About You" on it.. I'm going to rip them to mp3 this weekend.. groovy!!
"Bowling After Midnight" was one of the songs, then there was a reggae piece (I think it debuted around the same time as Annie) "We Be Bowling" The remaining one escapes me, however.
The Smithereens' and Romantics' spoofs of "A Girl Like You" and "What I Like About You" were both on that live bootleg, tho. Pure gold there.
Howdy! God, I can't even remember what songs we did for the Bowling Trilogy! I do remember the belch solo though... Anyways, I just finished a brand-new full-length DJ mix set, available at www. midiqueen. com/mq_mixsets. html right now. Please check it out sometime, thanks!!!
You guys absolutely have to add the bootleg tape tracks--the "Bowling Trilogy," "Just Fix My Car" and "Love Sneeze." Oh lord, we need a Dr. Love boxed set...
