Chord is a minimalist drone collective that relies on few structural components. They are not concerned with, nor do they attempt to play, songs. Their goal is the achieving of "chord" -- the melding of separate sustained notes into a single unified aural entity. And while the "chords" themselves are relatively simple in construct (even when attempting challenging chords), the complexity of Chord in action lies within the enormity of the texture it produces. To be in the presence of chord achieved is transcendent.
