Most recently my influences have been my friends alGARythm and the mad dr.xnlb.
These two constantly critique my creative output and push me to be better.
Musical tastes are diverse and range from Autechre and Boards of Canada to Skinny Puppy and to The Cure and Depeche Mode. I particularly like inorganic IDM and dark 'n dirty d-n-b. Old industrial (not this newer synthpop crap) was my earliest electronic excursion, and my tastes continue to evolve.
I am heavily influenced by books as well, especially dark satire (Vonnegut, Heller), science fiction (Philip K. Dick, Isaac Asimov, Philip Jose Farmer), classic literature (John Steinbeck, William Faulkner), existentialism (Kafka, Camus, Sartre) and popular culture (Christopher Moore, Yann Martel).
Movies are also a big influence on my work; A Scanner Darkly, Bladerunner, Naked Lunch, Pulp Fiction, and Fight Club to name a few.
