Drop Dead (1987-1994?) was a thrash groove band from Indianapolis, IN. This is mandatory metal listening and still the ultimate Indiana metal band. They released three ultra-classic tapes:(1988) Ending The Sadness, (1989) Drop Dead, and (1990) Our Forgotten Destiny. A CD containing all three tapes entitled Death By Fusion was released in 1994. True legends and just as heavy today as it was then. NEVER FORGET!
Hi Everyone, Thanks for the support of Drop Dead. Kevin and I are amazed at how so many people still have such a passion for our music, written so many years ago.
Please do us a favor... remember that Drop Dead ultimately was a band that tried to serve Jesus Christ, especially in the latter stages of our band days together. Although we may not have always been the right example of what it means to be a follower of Christ (I especially refer to myself, not so much Kevin), we very much love Jesus and want to bring glory to his name alone.
Keep this in mind when posting comments on this page, please refrain from saying things that might offend people, in particular language that you would not teach a little child to use.
Kevin and I both appreciate the acknowledgments that people continue to share with us and on this page, but we would also appreciate things being said in good taste.
To God all the Glory. To Almighty Jesus all the praise! God loves us all so very much and with a life that puts Him first, you can truly experience a rich and full life.
I had so much fun playing with D.D. Learned alot from THE KING OF CRUNCH - Kevin Mabry. Dave and me (Bryan), are playing again with some other killer musicians in "The High Council", same "pit inducing" sound and riffing! If you loved Drop Dead, come check out T.H.C.! Hell, you'll probably hear an old D.D. tune at the shows. Drop Dead, still crushing motherfuckers to this day!!
Hey Man check out my photo album I have a flyer you don't have on your site, you can copy it and post in your pics too. Drop Dead was one Badass Band. I'm still friends with David and Brian, we went to high school together back in the day. Good job on collecting all the Drop Dead stuff, keep the memory alive and maybe we'll get a reunion one day.
