Four nations – One groove. Hailing from Japan (Takashi Peterson), Switzerland (Xavier Nussbaum), the USA (Chris Moore) and Germany (Andreas Bühler), these four unique, internationally recognized musicians from around the globe have continued to move audiences wherever they perform.
Drop Four came together in 2003 to premier at the Jazz Festival Bern, a week long engagement that brought the stage to a boiling point night after night. Beyond borders, beyond categories, Drop Four continues to shake audiences of all sorts with their combustible grooves and eclectic blend of vibrant tunes. In 2005, they won the Jazz and Blues Award Berlin. Recently, Drop Four appeared as headliners at highly acclaimed Jazz Festivals in Germany such as the Ostsee Jazz Festival, Jazz in den Ministergärten, etc.
