Sounds Like
We have been compared to the sound of beating yourself in the head with a poodle. Though most people have told us they cant compare our sound to anybody out their today. And that is the way we like it, no one should tell you what you can or cant play or listen too, style is in yourself. Style is all about waking up and wearing whatever the F*%$ you feel like wearing, getting in your car and listening to the F*%$ing bee gees if you feel like it. Do what you want, wear what you want and always listen to what you want... Sing like no one is listening, Dance like no one is watching and always be your self because there is no one that is better at doing what you do than yourself...
***Just so everyone is aware, Drop Monday has broken up... We are still friends and who knows what will happen in the future... Thanks to everyone who came to see us, we had a great time playing for you all.***

Drop Monday is about the music, we love what we do and do what we love. We will play any show with any band anytime and anywhere. We are based in the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh, and have been on the scene for two years now. With over 250 shows under our belts including Club Laga, The Hard Rock Cafe, Nicks Fat City, Mr. Smalls Fun House, The Boardwalk Complex, Excuses, 31st St. Pub, Penn State Battle Of The Bands, The Uptown Theater, Peters Pub, Club Cafe, and many other small bars and clubs all over the city of Pittsburgh. We are broadening our horizons daily and will be playing out of state shows by this summer.
We have been featured in several newspapers in Pittsburh including the Post Gazette, E-Resource Magazine and the PGH City Paper. We have also had music featured on local radio stations such as 105.9 the X(Edge of the X) and K-Rock with great responses from both. We are also featured on a couple of internet radio stations. One noteworthy one is PaXposure which is an all PA indie rock station. We have had two of our songs played on the station and both songs have made the top ten countdown, the results of the countdown are based on listener votes. Antheniam shot up to number one in three weeks, it can still be found in the top ten today. We are the first band to ever crash the coveted top ten in less than a week of airplay. Jacs has also started making its climb in two weeks of being on the countdown it has risen to number two. As of right now we have two songs in the top ten countdown which is a feat in itself.
We are no strangers to the music scene, all of the members of Drop Monday have played in countless bands before this one. From emo to hard rock we have played it at one point. Every show is a different experience full of energy, and raw love for music. This is our lives, this is our souls, this is our passion, we put everything we have into each and every show and song. We play shows like each one will be our last. We play 2-4 shows a week, and practice 2-3 times a week. This is what we want to do for the rest of our lives and are willing to go to any extreme to accomplish this goal. Every show is a party, so come out and experience Drop Monday for yourself and see what we are all about.
