DROP PLAN was a 6 member band with an energetic and original sound. Consisting of a drummer, bassist, guitarist, DJ, and 2 vocalists, DROP PLAN fuses the sounds of Rock, Hip-Hop, Punk, Soul, Funk, Reggae and the occasional dang, thats dope to make an unique genre of music.
The line-up for the DP crew was established in early 2003 when the two singer/emcee/songwriters Lael and Nate simultaneously tried out for the bands vocal spot. Realizing that they sounded better together feeding off each others different styles and energies, the band agreed that both should be the frontmen. Laels heart-felt, soulful singing meshed beautifully with Nates linguistic styles and incessant freestyle abilities. As Nates singing abilities developed, so did Laels emerging lyrical skills. Having both previously written songs for other projects, they combined their efforts with the skills of the musicians and had their first song together called "Intent To Distribute" (also known as "Alive"). From that point on, they continued combining their diverse influences to develop what is now know as DROP PLAN.
DROP PLAN has played shows in many towns from Alpharetta and Roswell to Marietta, to downtown Atlanta and even Jonesboro. Having shared the stage with local favorites such as Groove Stain, Sol (Bastard Suns), Collective Efforts, Rehab, Theory of Mind, City Sleeps, Favorite, Hiram, and many other excellent bands, DROP PLAN continues on the quest to be heard.

In March of 2006, Drop Plan disbanded for no apparent reason. Rest In Peace DP!

Damn Nate, after almost a year, people are still leaving ya'll comments and missin' Drop Plan. If nothing else ever happens, that in itself is pretty cool. And this from your Mama. You have a talent and it will keep finding itself.
