DROPSTONE combine various influences-from The Beatles, The Who, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, The Smiths, Muse, The Stooges, MC5 and, above all, themselves, to make their powerful and unique rock/indie sound.
If you like your music to have loud but well-played guitars, a tight rhythm section and intelligent, well sung lyrics that aren’t afraid to look at life’s darker side, then they could be the band for you.

"Last night I was knocked off my feet. A great set with some cracking and varied songs. Excellent musicians and a great bunch of guys. I for one will certainly be going to their next gig"
"All 3 bands were definitely worth seeing with a nice increment of 'slickness' towards Dropstone who I'd not seen before but was very impressed with"
"Dropstone were outstanding"
"Dropstone - Wow what a band ! loved it and will certainly look out for them again. Nice bunch of guys too"
"Fantastic Image and very entertaining- the singer is in a league of his own "
"Very entertaining and professional- the singer knows how to perform with style"
"Blending streams of rock music from every quarter, Dropstone mix up punk with funk, classic rock with southern boogie, rhythm and blues with indie. Add that to a front man that is either a consumate actor or is missing his medication and you have a very original act."
"I was mightily impressed, the guitarists had so much energy it was awesome"
"the lead singer rendered me speechless, his performance was mesmerising. You can see the acting ability coming out in the performance. It makes the vocals so full of feeling. "
"We were gobsmacked by the performance and you certainly did not keep us wanting. "
"gritty indie rock guitar sound that will seduce your ears like a teenage lolita who has just had a crate of alcopops"
"Dropstone's style is fantastically varied - a hard rock element at its base but with plenty of screeching guitar solos and a technical ability that surpasses most other bands in that genre...and were full deserving of their encore at the end."
"A most entertaining and talented up and coming band with a unique sound and performance by front man Ben leaves no doubt that this band is on the up"
