Jacob Reed, aka Dr Oscillator, has been making beats for the past 6 years, and has been hungrily listening to music since he can't remember. Steadily honing his craft and building up his studio while dealing with the rigors of work and study, Dr Oscillator has crafted his own unique brand of hip-hop. Blending old-school sampling with blazing modern synths and experimental techniques, he simultaneously pulls influences from all ends of the musical spectrum, melding them into something wholly unique. After graduating in 2007 with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, he can now dedicate the full extent of his energies to sculpting banging beats that continue to redefine and extend the meaning of hip-hop.
