My Bluesband Blaatt Brygg which now is history(2001-2007) Funny video from this huge stage. In this band I only used a snare,Hi-hat and brushes. Blaatt Brygg mainly played at small pubs, bars and blues-clubs. A bluesy rock a billy concept. Actually a quite successful band and concept.
Marla was one of my first US friends on Myspace. She has become a very good friend. Check her page and her music...

Hi! My name is Oystein Drosshaug/ZZ Dross, I am 47 years old and live in Harstad, Norway. I am a self taught musician who started to play guitar in 1972, but in 1989 I switched to drums, and since then I have played drums in lots of different blues/rock/pop bands. In 2005 I played my first professional jazz-gig which inspired me to keep on working with jazzoriented music. In 08 and 09 I have been exposed to some of the greatest jazz musicians in Norway. Today I try to play as much as possible.
Beside of music I work as a freelance journalist for some magazines. In 2010 I will be playing on every important stage and music festival all over the world..with the best musicians. See you then...
(All tunes are composed by ZZ Dross. Non of them are finish yet, and hopefully I will be able to make those baby's sound better. New tunes and recordings will be added soon)

"DJ Monkey …soul-stirring, excitingly edgy music…just disturbing (read ‘mind-f**king’) enough to demand attention. There is a whole spice rack of auditory flavors here, served up like fractured poetry on a collection of intensely listenable Hallmark cards from Hell." Bill Margold, Cinema Seen, L.A. X..Press
