Drowned In Flames formed in 2007 and after a few line-up and style changes they are finally starting to make a name for themselves. Based in York, the band have been on a non-stop rise since the start of this year. Gigging constantly and playing with as many touring bands as possible the band have been building a solid fan-base with no sign of letting up. The bands previous release ‘Save Yourself’ (tracks from which have featured on the covermount cd's of Powerplay and Devolution magazine) continues to sell well at the bands shows. The follow up ep titled ‘Feel Free’ has now been recorded and shows a much more melodic and mature side to the band with well crafted and written songs.
Drowned In Flames are a hard-working, passionate band that are extremely dedicated to what they do.
If you like your rock loud with a decent chorus, then this band is definitely for you! Think Deftones meets Biffy Clyro meets Will Haven and you’re somewhere close.
