Pete Ludovice may be the only comic in the world with a Ph.D. from M.I.T., thereby giving him a unique perspective on the humorous side of science, technology and nerds. After a decade of telling jokes to students in the School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech, he decided to take his own brand of humor on the road.

SCIENCE, ONLY FUNNIER
我想認識： Paul Oneil, Bush's Treasury Secretary for his first two years, and the only cabinet member who recognized him for what he really is. I've met a few Nobel Laureates in the sciences and I was rather impressed, but the one I would have really liked to have met was Linus Pauling who won it in both Chemistry and Peace. Of course Richard Feynman would have been cool to talk with. In addition to winning the Nobel Prize in Physics, developing quantum electrodynamics and Feynman Path Integral Theory he wrote about how to meet women in bars. My friend Mike Thien once sat down with him on a park bench at Caltech once and they talked about where to find the best donuts in Pasadena. In comedy I would really like to meet George Carlin someday before he kills himself with booze and drugs (although I can think of worse ways to go). I once saw him at MIT when I was a grad student and I laughed so hard I think I damaged an internal organ. I like the way he makes people think with his humor. Alonzo Bodden of Last Comic Standing III told me he talked with George and said George "Likes to take people over the edge, and then make them glad the came along." Of course Alonzo is like George in that he does funny but intellectual humor. He is also a nice guy who tells me that comedy and relationships don't mix, so ladies please give Alonzo a call. I play jazz trumpet sometimes and I would have always liked to meet Miles Davis and I still would like to meet Wynton Marsalis someday.
