So I have 2 friends who are going to be buying new cars soon. So now I want a new car. Well, a new to me car, anyway. So these are cars I could conceivably buy used if my truck didn't run fine, which it does, and if I didn't mind taking on some more debt, which I do.
**The Cars I Like And Could Foreseeably Have Edition**
Cadillac STS
Chrysler 300C
A Dodge Ram 1500
The Infiniti FX45, but I'd have to go into some pretty serious debt to get this one.
And...
I would have to wait a long time, cuz the new ones haven't even come out yet, so used ones wont be around for years. And that's provided they even build it to look exactly like this, which isnt 100% assured. When the new Mustang came out it was a lot uglier than the concept car that preceded it.
I also harbor a suspicion that women think guys who drive cars like these are trying to compensate.
So there are influential factors forbidding it, but I still like this car: The 2009 Camaro Concept.
Movies
Television
I don't get cable, and I don't like TV.
But I do like one TV show.
Nero Wolfe. Starring Maury Chaykin.
It's kinda like a murder mystery, but it's so much better than any other murder mystery I ever saw. The books rule too. It's just a really great show. I have all the episodes.
Here are some screenshots.
Books
Any book with Nero Wolfe in it (Rex Stout), Sherlock Holmes (Arthur Conan Doyle), Ranulph Fiennes Explorer Books, James Clavell, and business books. Textbooks, etc.

Who I'd like to meet: Muhammad Yunus. Nobel Prize winning economist. Figured out perhaps the most effective way to solve poverty. Addresses some very interesting problems in conventional banking systems.
Ram Charan. He's a consultant for all sorts of corporations. Reading books by him right now. He's interesting.
Carl Icahn. Billionaire shareholder activist. I just want to have dinner with him and talk to him about shareholder activism, the way he thinks managers should manage and his ideas about corporate democracy.
Jim Press. Used to work for Toyota but when Chrysler went private they bought him off Toyota. Could spell a major change in the automobile market (in Chrysler's favor).
Jordan, there's gonna be a kick ass party (before the REAL kick ass party at Gardner's, of course) at the Oracle on Thursday at 4. There's gonna be free food and shite, so just wanted to let you know. Be there or be square!
