Basically being a Doctor of Chiropractic consumes much of my time and thought processes. I love helping people get better without the use of drugs or surgery. Not that I'm radical against medicine, it's just that if you can get better without getting cut open or dumping a bunch of pills in, wouldn't you think that would be better?Music

Nothing really thrills me on television. I watch but it's random. I get into some sports like football (go Vikings) but mostly the television is a distraction.Books
I read mostly business and health books. Nutritional topics have been getting both my attention and my wife's special interest.

About me:
I'm an avid customer service advocate. To many business' allow poor service to be their normal mode of business. I believe in being personal, up front, and a friend to my patients. I believe in telling the truth in business, even if it means that I don't get as much profit from a patient because they need less care. I currently have two businesses (an office based practice at Brookfield Family Chiropractic and a traveling practice called Executive Chiropractic) and have been a practicing chiropractor for over 10 years. I've been married to Wendy for almost 12 years now and I adore her. Jessica, my step daugher is a sophmore at Iowa State University. I'm an avid musician and play bass at my church, Lutheran Church of Hope, Northbranch. I'm a participant in the men's ministry at Northbranch and attend the Men's Fraternity training at Ankeny E-Free church. I enjoy my dog and two cats and I like taking walks with my wife. I'm starting a new exercise routine in 2009 and look forward to getting in better shape.Who I'd like to meet:
While I think it's cool to be rich and famous, I generally don't get crazy about meeting people of stature. Usually the meeting is so hurried, nobody gets anything out of it. I think it would be cool to meet Kevin Costner, Jimmy Buffett, and James Taylor. I think they would be fun to just hang out with.Details
