DR SIN is today a synonymous of top quality Rock!
For many times awarded as best musicians and band by the most important magazines. It is almost impossible to read a music magazine without seeing DR SIN’s interviews or advertisings. The first Brazilian appearance for the big media was at the Hollywood Rock festival, where they shared the stage with Nirvana and L7 in 1993. And that was all that they needed to show everyone that they were ready to rock. DR SIN did unbelievable concerts on those nights. In 1993, they took their chances in the USA. And after some concerts there they were signed by Warner International and the album (DR SIN) was released in nine countries. Their second album (BRUTAL) was released in Japan under the title (SILENT SCREAM) followed by the album (INSINITY) and the live album (LIVE IN BRAZIL). The LIVE ALBUM was part of the Yngwie Malmsteen box-set. All these albums, videos, concerts and festivals helped DR SIN to achieve more and more success and more fans. They had very special guests on the album (INSINITY). One of them was Jonathan Mover (former drummer of: Joe Satriani, Alice Cooper, Saigon Kick, Einstein..) on the song “Insomnia”, and Silvio Luiz, one of the most famous sport’s commentator, on the song “Futebol, Mulher e Rock ’n ‘Roll”, which is one the biggest hits of the band. In the year of 2000, they have released in Brazil, another album (DR SIN II) in a very unusual way. This album was distributed in the newspapers stands all over the country. This album had another surprise, Michael Vescera, on the lead vocals, a very famous American singer (former: Yngwie Malmsteen, Loudness, Obsession and MVP). Other special guests were Sergio Buss (Steve Vai, Tritone) and Roland Grapow (former Helloween and Masterplan). This cd was a huge success. In 2002, they released a DVD and a double cd of a concert recorded in Sao Paulo, Brazil, entitled (10 YEARS LIVE) celebrating 10 years of the band. This concert has a very special guest, Andre Matos (former Shaaman), singing one of the biggest hits of the band called “Fire”. The next cd would be very interesting, for all the songs would be covers of the most famous bands of the world and would carry the word “DOCTOR” on their titles, such as “Calling Dr.Love” (KISS), “Rock and Roll Doctor” (BLACK SABBATH), “Dr Feelgood” (MÖTLEY CRUE), “Doctor, Doctor”(UFO), “Dr.Roberts” (BEATLES), “Somebody Get Me a Doctor” (VAN HALEN) among others. Now, DR SIN is releasing (BRAVO), their 8th album, which was conceived based on human being’s daily experienced facts and feelings. It is a heavy and powerful album. It is very creative and mixes technique with excellent melodies. The unique DR SIN’s formula. DR SIN is for sure a big pride for Brazilian people and is ready to conquer the world!

Just passing by to wish you a great week and to tell that i have already more than 20 songs ready for the next Temple of Sin cd which should be ready until september. Band has now a new drummer and a bassplayer and before hitting the studio, we will play some shows around south america. Later this year we get the band to europe and hopefully USA and Japan.
